The 1975 - Chocolate

Manchester’s The 1975 are set to round up their EP triology with the release of Music For Cars EP (due March 4th (UK), March 5th (US)), which will precede their highly anticipated full length debut on Vagrant Records due early this summer. Within the past month, we’ve listened to and loved two singles off the 5-track EP, “Chocolate” and “Head.Cars.Bending.” The band have dropped the monochromatic visuals for the EP’s infectiously catchy first single, “Chocolate,” which will also appear on the forthcoming LP alongside hit singles “Sex” and “You.” Watch the video and stream the ambient-infused electronic single “Head.Cars.Bending.” below.

The 1975 - You

The 1975 seduced us, once again, with their trademark heavy drum beats and Matt Healy’s translucent vocals in their latest single “You”, the closing track from their Sex EP (the follow up to August’s Facedown EP which we’ve told you about a month ago), out on November 19th via Vagrant Records. The Manchester quartet are currently working with the award-winning producer Mike Crossey (who has worked with acts like Arctic Monkeys, Foals, The Kooks) to get their debut full length album ready for release in Spring 2013.

We are so in love with this band. Listen to “You” below.

School of Seven Bells - Reappear

Here’s the video for School of Seven Bells’s “Reappear,” the second single (after “Lafaye”) from their third album Ghostory, which came out earlier this year on Vagrant Records/Ghostly International. The video was directed by Fernando Vallejo.

School of Seven Bells - Lafaye

School of Seven Bells are back with their third release, Ghostory, out February 28 on Vagrant Records/Ghostly International. The highly-anticipated album finds the band’s lineup has evolved along with the music; formerly a trio, the band is now a duo: guitarist/producer Benjamin Curtis and vocalist Alejandra Deheza. You can watch the video for “Lafaye” below.
