Santigold - The Keepers

Santigold has just released her self-directed video (with the help of Nabil Elderkin) for our favourite track from Master of My Make-Believe. Yes, things get weird and green at the kitchen table of the Stepford Wives in the video for “The Keepers.” And if you keep your eyes peeled, you may even catch a glimpse of the cameos by Wu-Tang Clan’s GZA and Trevor “Trouble” Andrew. And make sure you catch Santigold at Osheaga on August 5th.

Bonus: we prefer The Knocks’ remix of the track. It’s free for download, or you can stream it below!

Santigold - Master of My Make-Believe

As we all know, it’s been a great year for new releases and electropop diva Santigold’s badass album, Master of My Make-Believe, is no exception. Working with Diplo, Switch and Nick Zinner of Yeah Yeah Yeahs, she manages to flawlessly combine pop with rap, reggae and electronic beats. She’s a guilty pleasure for us, partially because of all the hype she’s getting, but you shouldn’t feel any guilt for falling madly in love with this album that is taylor-made for the 2012 Summer. Make sure you catch her at Osheaga on August 5th.
