Io Echo - When the Lilies Die

Io Echo is a Los Angeles duo composed of Ioanna Gika and Leopold Ross (of The Big Pink). They make shoegaze music with some Far East influences, as displayed by the presence of Japanese koto harps and Chinese violins in their songs. They have a debut album titled Ministry of Love coming out later this year on September 11th, via IAMSOUND, and you can get a little taste of it in their first single “When The Lilies Die” below. You can also grab it for free via Soundcloud here.

Charli XCX - You’re the One

Everybody who cares about current music has heard some kind of version of 19-year-old London native Charli XCX’s song “You’re The One” (acoustic or live) but it wasn’t until earlier today that she’s blessed us with the studio version. Her debut EP of the same name, comes out today (June 12th) via IAMSOUND. The original version of the track comes accompanied with a remix of the title track by Blood Orange and Balam Acab remix of “Nuclear Seasons.”
