Efterklang, one of our favourite Danish experimental exports, are back next week with their fourth album Piramida and we can barely contain our excitement. The album is named after a ghost town in Spitsbergen, an Arctic island located just shy of the North Pole that is home of more polar bears than humans, where the band went for a nine-day audio expedition looking for inspiration for their new full-length. The end result is simply magical, as evidenced by the embedded media we’ve posted below. You can download their song “Apples” for the price of an email in the widget, then watch the trailer video for Piramida and finish off with the video for “Hollow Mountain” below. The album comes out on September 24th via 4AD and Rumraket.
