Io Echo is a Los Angeles duo composed of Ioanna Gika and Leopold Ross (of The Big Pink). They make shoegaze music with some Far East influences, as displayed by the presence of Japanese koto harps and Chinese violins in their songs. They have a debut album titled Ministry of Love coming out later this year on September 11th, via IAMSOUND, and you can get a little taste of it in their first single “When The Lilies Die” below.
