Faux No - Velma Kelly

Faux No are an electro duo consisting of Maaike Lebbing and Reija Lee, both from Australia, although now based in London. In 2010, Maaike made the 10,000 mile journey to the UK to pursue her solo artist project Kito, which developed quite a following after a handful of releases. Reija eventually entered the picture and soon after, Faux No was born. Their sound is best described in these words: love, lust and teenage rebellion… terms that also describes the two friends. Their first bass infused pop tune “Velma Kelly” was released last week via the always reputed Mad Decent, and you can view the Melodie Roulaud-directed video for it below.
