Giana Factory is a intergalactic electro trio from Copenhagen. Music nerds may recognise frontwoman Louise Foo as the sister of Raveonettes’ Sharin Foo. The trio is completed by bass/synth player Sofie Johanne and guitarist Lisbet Fritze. They released their debut album Save the Youth in Denmark way back in September 2010 (via Music for Dreams), but it wasn’t until this spring that the LP officially found its way into record shops around the world. These ladies definitely know how to create pop gems with their gloomy synths, lushy drums and amazing vocals, but don’t take our word for it; check them out for yourselves in the self-directed video for the first single “Rainbow Girl” below.
