Boy Crisis is an electro pop quintet (including Victor Vazquez of rap group Das Racist) based out of Brooklyn. They have been out and about since 2008 with their danceable R&B hooks and released a debut album called Tulipomania via B-Unique Records back in 2009, bringing an electrofunk vibe to the dancefloors. They kinda disappeared after getting a bunch of hype when the album came out, that is up until recently when everyone had completely forgotten about them, and re-emerged with a new video last March for “L’Homme,” our favourite track of the album. The funky beats and basslines of this song will tease even the most reluctant feet into action; let’s hope this isn’t the last we hear from Boy Crisis! The video was directed by Jovan Todorovic and Ðorde Peševski Kiborz.
